Elegance at an Affordable Price

I thoroughly enjoy eating meeting friends to eat lunch at the Georgia Club. Their dining facilities are elegant. Lunches are very affordable, but really delicious and elegant. They have soups, sandwiches, salads, and other special menu items such as Shrimp and Grits. Their desserts are amazing and hard to resist, especially the Creme Brulee. You can dine in your Sunday best or you can dress more casually. There is even a Sports Bar for those who want to come in from the golf course in their shorts. The grounds are so beautiful... be sure to ride around a little before leaving. I have taken my office staff there to dine and they love it. In addition, there is a small meeting room near the dining room. The Georgia Club has allowed me to hold short office staff meetings in that meeting room after dining and have not charged for that service. The evening meals and the Sunday brunches are also very good, but more expensive. They also have special events around holidays, etc. They also have a website which is www.thegeorgiaclub.com. You can call ahead for reservations, but reservations are not required except for special events. If you live in the Athens-Winder area, it is a wonderful alternative to other restaurants nearby.
